salt is the collaborative practise of Juliane Foronda and myself, Ieva Grigelionyte,  which is rooted in food and hospitality. We met while studying in Reykjavik and now currently live in Glasgow. Our creative processes constantly overlap around the ideas of food and meals as a unique way of communicating. Our mutual interest in food politics plays into each of our works in different yet complementary ways. We’ve recently begun working towards establishing a collaborative and ongoing food-sharing series as a means of contributing to the wider discourse of food politics through our research, as well as fostering community and conversation.
